Johnny took care of Mom all weekend on his own since we were out of town and said that she had a great weekend and mainly talked nonsense when she was tired. She ate good meals and walked by herself holding onto the rail and walking behind the wheelchair. Toni and Rod came into town to visit her in which she thoroughly enjoyed. Her memory is improving a little and she is doing sooooo well guys! Now, if we can only get her into a good place where she can continue to shine and impress us.

We really enjoyed our visit with Johnny & Gaye and were thrilled at how much she had improved since we last saw her the early part of January. Loved seeing her wry little looks at us "behind Johnny's back" when he corrected her or said something she didn't particularly agree with and noticed her sense of humor is still certainly still intact in many of the antics she tried to pull off.
ReplyDeleteI see why there needs to be someone with her at all times bc she does forget that she tends to fall easily and wants to get up and do things that come to mind.
Your constant dedication to her continued improvement is certainly paying off ... we just know she'll be back at 100% before long and make that our constant prayer.
